In addition, Union Members are covered under a FREE group insurance plan – SLF GIFT PLUS that pays up to S$5,500 for death or permanent & total disability (PTD) due to natural causes (24 hours) or accidents during working hours; up to S$30,000 for death or PTD due to accidents which occur outside working hours. dependent on the length of Union membership. The coverage is also extended to member’s spouse and pays up to $500 due to all causes.
