Tulip Hearts Day 2005 – Raising Fund for Children’s Cancer Foundation

Tulip Hearts Day (THD) is a Children’s Cancer foundation (CCF) annual fund raising event. THD was established in 1996 as a way of recognizing the courage of children with cancer and determination in battling this illness. CCF continues the tradition with the sale of hand made silk-cocoon tulips at $2 each to raise funds and create awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore. The funds raise enables CCF to continue providing free programmes and services to more than 463 families under their care annually. These include financial assistance, counselling, support groups and workshops, therapeutic play etc

In aid of this meaningful project, UTES is now seeking members and their families to volunteer to sell the tulips at Downtown East on 4 September 05. There are 2 shifts which you can volunteer for
(i) 10.00 am to 2.00 pm or (ii) 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Interested members, please kindly e-mail to utes@utes.org.sg with the heading ‘Tulip Hearts Day 2005’ and your Name, I/C, Contact No and the preferred shift by 24 August 2005.
