U-Stretch Vouchers Update

Dear Members,

We are pleased to inform that with effect from 1st Aug 2008 till 31 December 2008, U-Stretch recipients may use up to 4 coupons (1 coupon = 5% discount; 2 coupons = 10% discount, 3 coupons = 15% discount, 4 coupons = 20% discount) for every $10 spending.  This is $2.00 savings for every $10 purchase equivalent to 20% savings.

The NTUC U-Stretch vouchers will enable Union members to stretch their hard earned dollar and in part restore their reduced purchasing power due to higher inflation. Each eligible member will enjoy a discount of 5% off their minimum purchase of $10 from now till 31st December 2008. The 5% discount will therefore help to cushion the impact of higher inflation, especially in food prices, which we are experiencing this year.

To extend assistance to as many rank-and-file workers as possible, UTES is opening the U-Stretch application again to its members, with appended eligibility criteria:-

They can also obtain the application forms from our UTES office at 15 Hill Street, Telephone House Complex II, 3rd Storey, Singapore 179352 during office hours. Enquiries may be directed to UTES Membership Department at 63371122.

The closing date of application is on the 31st July 2008.
