The annual inter-union singing competition U Fame Awards is back for the 5th year and there’s more CASH and PRIZES to be won!

For the past four years, this event has unveiled numerous talented members in the Labour Movement. Many of these past U Fame finalists were engaged to perform at NTUC events such as the May Day Carnival and May Day Dinner. This year’s finalists are no exception; they will have opportunities for exposure at upcoming union-related events including the Family Recreation and Fun Carnivals.

 

Below is the schedule for the competition:

• Heats 1 – Sunday, November 13th 2011
• Heats 2 – Sunday, November 20th 2011
• 1st Quarter - Sunday, March 4th 2012
• 2nd Quarter - Sunday, March 11th 2012
• Semi-finals - Sunday, May 6th 2012 @ Happy Days clubhouse
• Grand Finals– Friday, 13th July 2012 @ Downtown East, D’Marquee

 

Closing date for registration is Monday, 31 October 2011.
