Formation of Youth Committee

As part of UTES efforts to introduce younger members into the union movement and eventually identify and groom young unionists for leadership renewal, a Youth Committee was specially formed in early 2005.

To date, the Youth Committee has a great hand in organizing most of union-related activities for the members, such as “UTES In-Sync” and spearheading recruitment efforts such as in the SingTel Induction Programme and SingPost Orientation Workshop. It has also contributed ideas to the revamp of UTES very own homepage.

With the support of the Executive Council, the Youth Committee promises a more exciting journey for all our members ahead. So members, do give your utmost support to the Youth Committee and sit tight for the ride!
